Retsina Greek traditional white wine made from Roditis and Savvatiano grape varieties only located in Greece. Retsina (Resin) is an ancient type of Greek wine, which was produced initially by accident when using resin to seal the amphoras. Nowadays Tsatali Winery collects the resin during September’s grape harvest and adds small quantities of pine resin from from Halkidiki pine trees to the fermenting must. Retsina Tsantali has bright yellow-gold, with a typical rich aroma, typical rich taste at palate, soft, cool with a spicy aftertaste; dry, with an elegant pine ‘bite. Ideally served with Greek salad, feta cheese; fish specialties; seafood; light meats and roast lamb. Vintage 2018. Serve at 10°C to 12°C.
