This stellar Imperial Stout 10 months bourbon barrel aged 330ml is brewed by the artisanal microbrewery Sknipa. It is a dark beer, unpasteurized and unfiltered with a high alkaline degree. With its slow maturation for 10 months in oak barrels where bourbon from Kentucky has matured, it is enhanced in aromas and flavours.
It is produced with a large amount of different roasted malts, both wheat and barley and a moderate amount of hops and yeast, without the addition of sugar.
It is characterized by its bittersweet malty character with aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and vanilla as well as liquorice and bourbon notes. Full-bodied, creamy and soft in the mouth with a long aftertaste.
This beer will develop a more complex and well-rounded flavour as it ages so it is also recommended that you let mature further. You will be highly rewarded.
