Bougatsa mizithra cheese pie is a delicious savοury pie with hand-made light phyllo dough (bougatsa dough). The bougatsa filling is made with creamy mizithra cheese, ideal for vegetarians. This bougatsa is in 2, 500gr packs, serving 8 pieces each.

This is a deep-freeze product, it is stored at -18C and shipped from frozen, once it is de-frosted should not be re-freezed. When received frozen or partly-frozen keep it in the freezer until its expiry date, if defrosted keep it refrigerated (0C to 5C) for 1 day. Or keep it at room temperature for 2 hours before baking.
ATTENTION: DO NOT RE-FREEZE A DEFROSTED PRODUCT
• Preheat the oven to 180-2oo ° C. Remove the lid and place bougatsa in the lower oven rack.
• Bake for about 35-40 minutes from frozen and about 30 minutes when de-frosted. While baking turn bougatsa upside down when the top gets a golden brown color and continue baking.
• To enjoy the taste of bougatsa, let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
• Adjust the cooking time and temperature, depending on your oven.
