0.3 Liokarpi Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from the best quality variety of olives, marked as PDO Messara. Liokarpi extra virgin olive oil has a distinct aroma and flavour and a characteristic thick texture. The extraction of this oil is performed at low temperatures (cold extraction method), thus preserving its beneficial elements and high nutritional values. The 0.3 defines the level of acidity contained in the oil, which is one of the lowest and marks its premium. Available in 500ml glass container.
Due to the storage in low temperatures, the oils tend to take a velvet texture and the fat acids separate into little bubbles, which is completely normal for non-processed evoos. Store it at room temperature for a few days and the texture will get back to normal.
