0.2 Liokarpi Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a superior quality extra virgin olive oil coming from the best quality of Koroneiki olives (PDO varies), harvested by hand and produced with the cold extraction method. Koroneiki is a local Cretan olives variety of superior quality marked as Product of Designated origin. Its 0.2 acidity count is the lowest that can be found in olive oils worldwide and generally reflects the oil’s unique purity and high quality. Liokarpi is an unmistakably fruity olive oil with spicy tones and a distinctly recognisable aftertaste of citrus fruit all of which create an amazing balance in taste. This oil is produced in limited quantity.
Due to the storage in low temperatures, the oils tend to take a velvet texture and the fat acids separate into little bubbles, which is completely normal for non processed evoos. Store it in room temperature for few days and the texture will get back to normal.
