Bulgur - pligouri, dried grained wheat, 500gr produced in Greece. Bulgur or in Gerek pligouri, is the type of cereal used to make the famous tabbouleh salad and is alternative to cous cous or quinoa. Mix it with seasonal vegetable and make refreshing salads or serve it instead of pasta or rise to accompany any dish. Bulgur is naturally high in fiber, ideal for those following a healthy nutrition, as it is low-fat and low-calorie ingredient. It is easy to cook, by only soaking it in preheated water and cook it for 20 minutes (water dose to bulgur should be 2 to 1). Suitable for vegetarians.
