Apaki the traditional Cretan smoked and salted meat, made by lean pork marinated in mix of mountainous herbs and extra virgin olive oil. Apaki is smoked through a slow and natural process bringing all the aromas of woods. Cretan apaki is the ideal meze to serve in charcuterrie platters or separately. Sauteed in pan for few minutes and serve.
Apaki is produced in Crete, by the local producer Hasikos, well-known across Greece for its high quality . Preserved refrigerated in 2°- 4° till their expiry date and suitable for home freeze.
